Day Rides

Sometimes you don’t need an entire riding holiday to experience Bosnia on horseback.

Our Day Rides are designed for guests who would like to spend anything from half an hour to a full day in the saddle, exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding our equestrian centre.

Located only around 30 minutes from Sarajevo, our ranch sits between forests, mountain streams, traditional villages and open countryside, giving us direct access to a variety of trails suitable for different levels of riding experience.

Whether you are sitting on a horse for the first time, returning to riding after a break, or are an experienced rider looking for a longer adventure, we will choose the horse and route according to your riding ability.

Shorter rides offer a relaxed introduction to horseback riding and the beautiful landscape around the ranch, while our two-hour and half-day rides take you deeper into the surrounding forests and countryside.

For experienced riders looking for something more adventurous, our Full Day Ride is the ultimate one-day horseback experience.

Leaving the ranch in the morning, we ride through forest trails, valleys and small traditional villages, with opportunities to trot and canter where terrain and riding ability allow. Along the way we cross mountain streams and enjoy wide views across the surrounding hills.

Around midday, we stop beside the river for a saddle bags lunch break, giving both horses and riders time to relax.

After lunch, we saddle up again and continue our journey through the mountains before returning to the ranch in the late afternoon.

It is a wonderful way to experience the landscapes, horses and rural life of Bosnia — even if you only have one day available.

Guest requirements	Minimum age: 14 years for shorter rides Riding level: Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced Groups and trails are organised according to riding ability. Full Day Ride: Intermediate and experienced riders only. Rider weight limit: 85 kg Tack: English tack Our horses include Bosnian Mountain Horses and crosses, Arabians, Lipizzaners and Haflingers.
